DAN PAVLUE - HEAD COACH

Coach Pavlue hails from Waunakee, WI where he played his high school baseball from 2004-2007. In 2007 he was named a 1st-team All-Badger North Conference outfielder as well as a Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association 1st-team All-District selection as an outfielder.

Pavlue then attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN and worked with the Minnesota Golden Gophers baseball team as the Head Student Assistant from 2007-2010. In 2009, the Gophers were ranked in the top 25 for a majority of the season and finished 2nd in the Baton Rouge, LA Regional of the NCAA Tournament finishing behind the eventual National Champion LSU Tigers. In 2010, Pavlue won a Big Ten regular season and Tournament Championship with the Gophers and advanced to the NCAA Tournament once again, finishing 2nd in the Fullerton, CA Regional behind host Cal State Fullerton.

During his time at Minnesota, Pavlue served as the Head Coach for the Hudson, WI varsity American Legion baseball team for the 2009 & 2010 summer seasons. During this time, Pavlue collected a record of 22-24-1 playing against arguably some of the best Legion teams in the states of WI and MN.

After Minnesota, Pavlue took a job at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN as a Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach. At MSU, Pavlue is responsible for outfield and hitting instruction, as well as recruiting area prospects.

Pavlue graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Coaching, and is currently pursuing a Master's of Art's in Education with a School Health emphasis from Minnesota State University.
